Our Flagship Project:
The Massachusetts Cannabis Center (MCC)
AmeriCann is developing projects throughout the country in regulated markets through the Preferred Partner Program. The facilities we are developing are designed with the principles of traditional horticulture and utilize a lean manufacturing perspective. A great example of which is our Massachusetts Cannabis Center, or ‘MCC’.
The MCC consists of a planned 1 Million square feet of growing space that is zoned for both Recreational and Medicinal cultivation.
The first phase of the MCC project, Building 1, is a 30,000 square foot cultivation and processing facility that is 100% leased for 15-years to AmeriCann’s JV Partner Bask, Inc. Operations commenced in February of 2020.
Upon completion, the MCC will be a state of the art facility situated in a market which does not currently have enough cultivation infrastructure to supply product demand. The MCC aims to enable Massachusetts licensed marijuana businesses to meet this demand via leased space at the facility. In addition, AmeriCann is securing licenses to own and operate cultivation and product manufacturing space at MCC.
This project is on track to set a new standard of excellence in the cannabis industry for innovation in energy efficiency, cost control, and production.
The secret to change is to focus all of your energy, not on fighting the old, but on building the new.
